The (Re)Making of Discover Winter
THE Business IDEA
Discover Winter is an independent luxury travel company, specialising in unique snow experiences. By providing impartial advice and tried and tested recommendations, through to handling logistics, making bookings and designing customised itineraries, Discover Winter provide all the tools needed to discover, plan and book a winter adventure experience.
Discover Winter Founder, Pete, first met Concrete Creative’s Creative Director a decade ago, on a University Ski Trip. Pete went on following the winter and ski seasons across the world as he developed the Discover Winter brand. The two reconnected when Pete decided it was time for the company to step it up a notch, and rebrand to align with the exclusive, luxury market he was now working with. We provided a complete logo refresh, enabling the brand to better connect with their key demographic.
THE Design PROCESS
We had a pretty clear idea of the brand direction as Discover Winter was already an established company. By reviewing the existing brand collateral (logo and website), and chatting with Pete about how the brand had evolved since the early days, we were able to finesse the overall feel to better align with quality of their service offering and appeal to their target audience.
For Pete and the team, from the initial logo concepts shared, one really stood out. So we refined this to develop the final full logo and icon application, which is now used on their website and social media channels. We also helped update the team’s business cards, so they were all set to show off their new look IRL as well!
